About Biotechnology

         In Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, Department of Biotechnology was incepted in 2013. Here, we taught differently to surpass the present hurdles. We have initiated a Research wing called as Selvam Green Technology Research center (SGTRC), We train students through our real-time work by making them participating in our research projects. We are also in the process of establishing more work in accordance with industry. We motivated the students by conducting various workshops and symposium and allowed them to present their ideas. We are also thinking of ‘Earn while you learn Program’ with this course. Interested students will be trained along with certificate to make them eligible to work with scientists in their projects. Brilliant Student’s project will earn patents and paper along with scientists. Besides these we promote our students to go aboard for higher studies. Our Motto in is learning through practice.
